„Rīgas satiksme” invites to choose drawing for yellow e-ticket

Every visitor of the "Rīgas satiksme" website at www.rigassatiksme.lv can see children’s drawings and vote for the best one, which will be printed on yellow e-tickets. The voting will take place from May 25 till June 30, and it will be possible to vote only once per day from one IP address.

This year 24 children from Riga sanatorium/boarding school visited “Rīgas satiksmē”. First, they went on a guided tour to see how everyday work is organized at bus depot No. 7, but after that they made drawings under the guidance of artist Jānis Anmanis.

It is for the eighth year that „Rīgas satiksme” organizes its traditional children’s drawing contests, in which kids living in Riga created design for yellow e-tickets. In 2016 pupils from children and youth basketball school „Riga” who participated in the contest made 15 drawings dedicated to theme „70^th Anniversary of trolleybus in Riga!” A majority of the website visitors voted for the drawing made by of Sabīne Škapare, which was printed on yellow e-tickets and became available early in 2017.
